On Tuesday, March 17, Cole Bott, a former Northfield Mount Hermon School basketball standout, contributed to a 68-66 victory for the Texas Longhorns over the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup was held at UD Arena with a starting time of 9:15 p.m.
The Texas Longhorns will next compete on Thursday, March 19, at 5:25 p.m. in Moda Center.
The UMass women’s lacrosse team claimed a decisive victory over Detroit Mercy with a final score of 22-3 on April 18. Dylan Lyons and Katie Peterson led an early offensive surge as head coach Jana Drummond praised her team’s execution. The Minutewomen extended their winning streak to nine games.

The Massachusetts rowing team earned victories in both the Varsity 8 and Second Varsity 4 races at Lake Quinsigamond on April 18. Other crews also delivered strong finishes ahead of their next competition at Eastern Sprints.
