Gus Larson scores 10 with 4 rebounds as Queens tops Eastern Kentucky

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, former Northfield Mount Hermon School standout Gus Larson played in the Queens Royals’ 96-79 victory against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.

The 6′10″ graduate forward posted 10 points and grabbed four rebounds in 11 minutes off the bench.

Larson and Queens are set to travel to face the Central Arkansas Bears on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m.

Bridget Valentine has been named MAC Defensive Player of the Week for a second time this season after standout performances against Eastern Michigan and Columbia. She tied a program record with seven caused turnovers and leads UMass with 31 on the year.
