The UMass Boston Beacons, led by former Mount Greylock Regional High School standout Jack Cangelosi, were defeated 15-6 by the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles in an NCAA Division III baseball game at Monan Park on Saturday, March 7, at 12 p.m.

Monan Park hosted the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Cangelosi gave up two earned runs over 0.2 innings, allowing two walks and earning two strikeouts.

The Beacons will next face the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles on Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m. at Monan Park.
