Jake Lemelman, previously an outstanding player for The MacDuffie School, helped lead the Mercyhurst Lakers to a 75-72 win over the Stonehill Skyhawks on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The sophomore guard, standing 6′2″, finished with 20 points, three rebounds and two assists during his 36 minutes on the court.
The UMass women’s lacrosse team claimed a decisive victory over Detroit Mercy with a final score of 22-3 on April 18. Dylan Lyons and Katie Peterson led an early offensive surge as head coach Jana Drummond praised her team’s execution. The Minutewomen extended their winning streak to nine games.

The Massachusetts rowing team earned victories in both the Varsity 8 and Second Varsity 4 races at Lake Quinsigamond on April 18. Other crews also delivered strong finishes ahead of their next competition at Eastern Sprints.
