12.8 percent of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 12.8 percent of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts has 1,277 undergraduate students, of which 62 percent are women and 38 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,452 students. Of these students, 95 men and 91 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with the most participants are soccer (46), basketball (31) and baseball (28).
