Janelle Jin '23 of the Amherst College women's golf team has been honored with selection to the All-American Scholar Team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Jin earned the honor for the second time in her career after previously earning a selection in 2020.
Golfers must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 and play in at least half of the team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year to be eligible for selection.
Jin, an economics and mathematics double major from Saratoga, California, posted three top-10 finishes this year, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Williams Fall Invitational in October. She helped the Mammoths win the NESCAC Championship and competed at the NCAA Division III Championship.
