Eph senior defender/forward Will Felitto from Winnetka, Ill. played a pivotal role in the Ephs' 1-0-1 NESCAC weekend when they defeated Bates 4-0 and came back to tie Tufts 2-2.
In the Ephs' 4-0 win over Bates on Saturday Felitto scored one goal. Sunday versus Tufts Felitto netted both goals in the 2-2 draw. Both of Felitto's goals versus the Jumbos were on headers.
His second goal that tied the contest came when he received a crossing pass that he headed twice. Felitto's first header on the tying goal went straight up and he then gathered himself between two Tufts defenders and elevated above the two defenders to head the ball into the net. That result, marked the first time this Eph senior class was able to claim a point versus Tufts.
