The #21 Amherst College men's tennis team won their second game of the weekend versus the Connecticut College Camels with a score of 8-1 at 2pm on Sunday in New London, CT.


Amherst's record improves to 5-3 (1-2 in NESCAC) for the season. Up next: the Mammoths will look to build from their first NESCAC win of the season versus Conn in their next game versus the #5 Tufts University Jumbos. The game will take place on Saturday at 10am on Amherst's outdoor courts (weather permitting).


HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The Mammoths earned a 2-1 lead from the round of three doubles matches
  • Amherst won all six singles matches without dropping a set 
  • First-years Jakob Esterowitz and George Chaidemenos had the most comfortable matches and dropped just one game at the #3 and #6 spots, respectively
