Only 46% of Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public District students meet or exceed English MCAS expectations in 2021-2022 school year

Of the 192 students who took part in the MCAS, 40% met the testing standard while 6% exceeded expectations, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The number of Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public District students who met or exceeded expectations grew by 3.6% from the previous school year.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's 2022 Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS), the average scale score for grade 10 English language arts was 503, which met the expectation level, while the average scale score for grade 10 science was 499, which only partially met the expectation level.
