Did Lenox Public Schools District’s graduation rate rise or fall in 2022-23 school year?

Lenox Public Schools District had a 100% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 3% higher than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 62 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 65 the year before.

In the state, there were eight districts with the highest graduation rate of 100%.

Lenox Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Berkshire County and has a main office in Lenox.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
