Richard Neal, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 1st district, has shared several updates and reflections on social media. These posts highlight his ongoing engagement with constituents and various national issues.

On January 24, 2025, Richard Neal expressed concern over the situation of Afghan families who have been evacuated and resettled in the United States after serving alongside American servicemembers. He stated, "My office has helped countless Afghan families who served alongside our servicemembers evacuate and resettle in the U.S. They risked their lives and we gave them our word. This is disgraceful."

Later that day, Neal referenced the impact of the Affordable Care Act on millions of Americans. In his post, he remarked, "I think the 45 million Americans who have coverage under the Affordable Care Act would agree."

On January 25, 2025, Neal congratulated students from Agawam High School for their achievement in a congressional competition. He wrote, "Congratulations to Matilda, Aiden, and Justin from Agawam High School on winning the 2024 @CongressionalAC for MA-01! Their app 'Journal N' Go' rewards users for daily journaling - a proven practice that improves mental health." He highlighted how this challenge encourages students to explore STEM fields.
